AFF is back from Holiday and better than ever. And now, the members of the AFF screening committee invite you to travel back in time…back to an infamous and unforgettable holiday which happened in a little place called “France.”
The person who went on this holiday just had a birthday on January 6, and we’re going to celebrate it.
No it’s not me….it’s:

 Mr. Bean’s Holiday

So come join Mr. Bean, your friends at AFF, and a chicken as we watch this epic masterpiece of a film. Or if you prefer, you may celebrate simultaneously in your home with your own chicken and copy of the film. (Please no eating of the chicken). See you on holiday!

PS: Here’s the movie’s trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgcVv93GjeQ
Here’s some dancing by Mr. Bean himself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjrccKb9zcQ

Lastly, some inspirational words from writer Henri Nouwen:

“There is a great difference between successfulness and fruitfulness.
Success comes from strength, control, and respectability.
A successful person has the energy to create something,
to keep control over its development,
and to make it available in large quantities.
Success brings many rewards and often fame.
Fruits, however, come from weakness and vulnerability.
And fruits are unique.
A child is the fruit conceived in vulnerability,
community is the fruit born though shared brokenness,
and intimacy is the fruit that grows through touching one another’s wounds.
Let’s remind one another that what brings us true joy is not successfulness
but fruitfulness.”

Happy 2008!
