Film & VFX Background:
Andrew Zeller has international work experience as a visual effects artist, media producer, filmmaker, and English teacher.
He has written, directed, and edited 3 feature-length films and 10 short films. Leading casts and crews of up to 55 members, he created 17 web videos for the Korean design company: rabito Co. Ltd., to promote their products. These rabbit-shaped phone cases have become a recognizable icon worldwide.
From 2014 to 2015, Andrew studied compositing at the Lost Boys School of Visual Effects and was awarded a special certificate from his instructor: Ganz Ramalingan, and mentor: Chris Van Dyck, for personal flare and leadership. In 2015, he was one of the first artists hired by Vitality Visual Effects, and has worked on both film and television projects. He wrote several pages for the company’s staff handbook, explaining how to use the variety of software provided in-house.
In January 2017, Andrew accepted an offer for the position of Compositing Instructor’s Assistant at the Lost Boys School of Visual Effects. He helps students learn BG prep and basic compositing skills, while also creating promotional content for the school.
