“Blind Sight” Plot Summary:
3 Flowers, 3 Human Beings…
Unable to see the world, the flowers yearn to leave their roots.
Unable to see the future, the humans long to know their purpose.
There is hope in every situation. These are the words Aaron Lam, a university student struggling with his parents’ high expectations, lives by. But his belief is put to the test when his beloved grandmother suddenly dies, leaving this world before he even has a chance to say goodbye. Determined to see her one last time, Aaron embarks on a physical, mental, and spiritual journey: blindly following a path that borders life and death. Surrounded by darkness, Aaron must face his deepest fears, anxieties, and complete isolation from the physical world, away from everyone he holds dear. But even apart, his life intertwines with events in the life of Travis and Zoë, his two best friends. Together yet separate, they struggle to make their own paths to the future.
In a world where he cannot see, Aaron is lost, but he is not alone. His journey leads him to the White Flower: a mysterious being of extraordinary beauty, healing power, and insight. But the White Flower is paralyzed by a single fear: a difficult decision which refuses to go away; a choice that will decide her fate and the future of those like her. Can she overcome her fear and step into the unknown? Can she help restore Aaron’s sight to such a level that he may see someone from beyond our world in order to say his final goodbye?

세 송이의 꽃과 세 명의 사람들…
늘 바깥 세계를 동경해오던 꽃들은 보금자리였던 숲을 떠나려고 한다.
미래를 알고 싶어하는 사람들은 삶 안에서 그들의 목적이 무엇일까 고민한다.
“어떤 상황에도 희망은 있어.”, 부모님의 높은 기대치에 부응하기 위해 최선을 다해온 대학생, 아론(Aaron Lam)은 이 말을 항상 마음에 새기며 살아왔다. 그러나 그의 믿음은 작별인사조차 하지 못한 채 갑자기 세상을 떠난 할머니의 죽음으로 인해 흔들리기 시작한다. ‘할머니를 마지막으로 한번만 더 볼 수 있다면…’, 아론은 영혼의 여행을 떠나기로 결심한다. 두 눈을 가린 채, 삶과 죽음의 경계를 따라… 사랑하는 사람들로부터 완전히 고립된 세계에서 어둠에 휩싸인 아론은 가장 깊은 공포와 불안에 맞선다. 한편, 아론의 삶은 그의 친구들인 트래비스(Travis)와 조이(Zoë)와도 엮인다. 그 두 친구들도 각각 미래를 향한 길에서 헤매고 있다.
